In a few years, Yen’s Restaurant has become one of Nha Trang’s most popular stops with travellers and local expats. The formula is simple - a menu with known favourites like pho, banh xeo and bun bo Hue, as well as a selection of Vietnamese staples. The welcoming presence of the owner Ms Yen is no doubt also part of the success and her friendliness rubs off on the other staff too. It’s a dependable, comfortable place for a meal in an airy open space. The wifi was reliable during my visits too so it can be a good place to hang out and get some reading done.
Yen and her partner also own the Ha Van Hotel next door.

Rusty Compass listings are always independent. We list the places we think are worth knowing about. Our Featured Listings allow a small selection of businesses already recommended by us, to pay a fee for a place at the top of our list. That’s it. Featured Listings have no impact on reviews, or on the curation and independence of our lists.
