Much of the Con Dao Islands, including the main island, Con Son, has been designated as National Park. The islands and their surrounding waters are home to a diverse ecology and Vietnam's best scuba diving.

Con Dao has some good relatively easy treks through beautiful forest in the National Park on the main island of Con Son. It's also possible to visit the outer islands including a turtle hatching station. Overnight stays can be arranged.

For divers, Con Dao is home to arguably Vietnam's best scuba diving and snorkelling with thriving coral and great sea life. Rainbow Divers have an office on the island (at Six Senses Con Dao Resort) and organise diving and snorkelling trips. Check out their website - http://www.divevietnam.com/condao.php

To arrange walks and other excursions on the island, talk to your hotel and visit the National Park Headquarters.
