There's little of note to see in Vinh Long town. It's the busy and none too pretty capital of the province with few features that you won't have experienced in similar towns of this size in Vietnam.
The attraction here is just outside the city. Vinh Long province plays host to some classic delta life, perfect for exploration both by boat and bicycle. There are even some nice walks along uncrowded scenic lanes past lush orchards of rambutan, jack fruit and the other delicious tropical fruits.
