If you want to dig into Mui Ne's local cuisine beyond the “bo ke” seafood BBQs on the beach strip, there are a few options. You can eat from some of the "banh mi" Vietnamese baguette or noodle carts that position themselves along the beach road in the afternoons, or head to Ham Tien town where there’s more local seafood as well as other local eateries. I sat down for a banh xeo Vietnamese pancake at one Ham Tien eatery on an afternoon cycle that was good fun. Finally, you can also jump in a cab and head into Phan Thiet town - which has a big range of local restaurants - and plenty more seafood.

Rusty Compass listings are always independent. We list the places we think are worth knowing about. Our Featured Listings allow a small selection of businesses already recommended by us, to pay a fee for a place at the top of our list. That’s it. Featured Listings have no impact on reviews, or on the curation and independence of our lists.
