Location
At the Phan Thiet end of Mui Ne Beach. Large beach and good access to restaurants and bars.
Review
Anantara Mui Ne us probably the most luxurious property on the Mui Ne beach strip. It's priced accordingly. At 89 rooms, it's also on the large side - but it's spread across very spacious grounds.
Design, ambience and people
Vast, green, grounds, a huge pool and a picturesque stretch of beach are the best things about Anantara Mui Ne. This is a large resort but its scale is softened by its generous plot of land and thoughtful landscaping.
The architecture has a contemporary Asian feel. The gardens add warmth and colour to a central building that needs both.
The central building, where most rooms are located is the weak point of the resort. It's not bad, it's just mediocre compared to the villas and the grounds.
Rooms in the main buildings start at a generous 57sqm and offer quaity resort fare.
The pool villas are standouts - very tasteful bungalows with private gardens and pools.
If you're planning on staying here, spend up big on one of the villas - they're the pick of all the accommodations in Mui Ne. They don't come cheap - but a reasonably priced for their quality.
With thanks to Andrew Wright for additional writing.
Facilities brief: Fully equipped gym, wifi large pool, satellite tv, ipod dock, outdoor showers in villas.
