Ha Tien rarely finds its way into Mekong Delta travel itineraries. Those that come use Ha Tien as a transit point from Vietnam to Cambodia's picturesque coastal towns of Kep and Kampot. And that may soon cease as well as ferry services look set to commence in 2010 between Phu Quoc Island and Kep.

We spent a very enjoyable day in Ha Tien. While its places of interest are just worth a look, its natural friendly character is its best feature.
