Review
Hanoi’s Old Quarter nightlife shuts down at midnight so if you want to continue the party without travelling too far, Hero is a good option.
It’s a less up-tight party scene, than some of the city’s more serious clubs. The crowd seems more focused on enjoying themselves than cellphone shenanigans, metre high vodka bottles, or being looked at.
There’s an industrial feel to the interior which is reminiscent of Hanoi’s quickly shutdown, but fondly remembered, Zone 9 arts and nightlife precinct.
Music varies with the DJ. DJ booth is embedded in an old Soviet truck cabin.
