The Intercontinental is the latest 5 star hotel to arrive in high-rise stye on Nha Trang’s main beach. With bright coastal colours, plenty of glass and sweeping views across the bay, the Intercontinental will suit those seeking a familiar brand name in a large, modern property.

Location

The Intercontinental Nha Trang is located right in the middle of Nha Trang’s beachfront strip. The location provides excellent views across the bay and access to Nha Trang’s sights, restaurants and nightlife. The cleanliness of the water for swimming in this area varies depending on rain and discharge from the nearby river mouth.

Review

Nha Trang’s beachfront strip has been transformed by high-rise hotels during the past decade and the Intercontinental, at 19 floors is the latest five star chain to join the club.

The Intercontinental features 279 rooms across 10 categories - with the club floor accounting for many of these.

If you’re staying here, you’ll probably want to take advantage of the beach views and stay in a Deluxe Ocean View or an Executive Deluxe room. There are also a handful of Family Suites with a separate bedroom with a bunk bed.

There’s plenty of glass in the common areas to take advantage of the views.

Decoration and colours give the resort a bright summer feel that goes some way to soften the city hotel atmosphere that’s hard to avoid in a structure of this scale.

The poolside area is generous with a large surrounding space that includes a bar and a supervised play area for kids.

There’s also a gym and spa.

Facilities brief
Pool, free wifi, media centre, gym, spa, children's play area.
